Silent Trader is run by a single person — a retail trader based in West Bengal, India, with 18+ years across equities, forex, and gold. No editorial team, no ghostwriters, no course to upsell you into.
Most trading education online is either a funnel toward a paid course, or SEO content written by someone who has never placed the trade they're describing. Silent Trader is neither. Every strategy discussed — Smart Money Concepts, ICT, Candle Range Theory — is something actually used in daily gold (XAUUSD) trading, including the custom Pine Script indicators and the MT5 automation built to support it.
The site runs on display advertising. There is no paid membership tier, no signal service, and no mentorship program. That's a deliberate choice: a business that earns money from selling you a strategy has a built-in incentive to make that strategy sound better than it is. A business that earns money from ad impressions doesn't have that pressure — if a setup has a real failure mode, saying so costs nothing.
Smart Money Concepts and ICT terminology used across this site draw on publicly taught frameworks that have become standard vocabulary in retail trading communities over the past several years. Candle Range Theory content reflects an original synthesis built specifically around gold's session behavior. Nothing here is presented as proprietary when it isn't, and nothing is presented as guaranteed, because nothing in trading is.
Beyond this site, content is also published on the Silent Trader YouTube channel in Hinglish for viewers who prefer that format, and tools are shared on TradingView and Telegram. A separate art channel, PenPencilMagic, covers alpana and pencil/pen art — unrelated to trading, run by the same person as a creative outlet.
